4 ways we’ve reduced plastic waste (for you and for us)
Whether it’s switching up your diet or reducing plastic waste, becoming more sustainable in our day to day should be at the top of everyone’s agenda.
From sustainable packaging to high-quality recycled papers, giving our customers the right tools to fuel their own eco-friendly efforts is something that we’re proud of.
We’re still working on it, but we’re continually striving to become more sustainable, and reducing our plastic waste is one of the many ways we’re trying to do good. But the best part is that this also means that we’re allowing our customers to do good too.
Read on for 4 ways we’re helping you show the world a little more love.
Card Catch Stickers
We recently welcomed Card Catch Stickers, our eco-alternative to Cellophane Bags (and a new favourite with our customers).
This packaging solution is a great way to brand up your Greeting Card designs whilst being an eco-friendly alternative to plastic packaging. Although the Sticker material isn’t fully recyclable, huge amounts of single-use plastic can be removed from waste streams.
Paper Banding Machine
This machine is a firm favourite with our social community, and for good reason. Not only is it super satisfying to watch, but this machine has replaced the use of plastic shrink-wrap in our packaging process by adding simple strips of paper to secure your orders.
With just the click of a button, we can package up all sorts of small format print jobs from Postcards to Flyers. Cool right?
Eco-friendly Tape
We said farewell to plastic adhesive tape and decided to stick (pun intended) with a water-based version. Printed on recycled Kraft Paper, every inch of the tape is fully biodegradable.
Just as durable, it means your orders arrive safely and remain neatly packaged. Safe in the knowledge you haven’t contributed to unnecessary plastic waste.
Recycled Business Card Boxes
Acrylic Business Card boxes became a thing of the past, with our fully recyclable boxes. And these little rectangle boxes have helped us remove half a million units of plastic from our production process.
Sealed with a water-based glue and printed with vegetable inks, your Business Cards not only arrive looking good, but they’re kinder to the planet too.
