Show the love – heart shaped sticker design contest results!
To celebrate the launch of heart shaped stickers, we wanted to show some love and give back by offering £1,000 worth of printed.com points to gift to one chosen charity. To win this prize (plus a £150 Amazon voucher for yourself too), all you had to do was design a heart-shaped sticker!
Well, the chance to design something new and give back to a good cause obviously struck a chord with you all because we’ve been overwhelmed by some seriously stunning design entries (you can see them all here), but we have our winner!
From 47 entries our judges whittled down the entries to a final shortlist of 19.
Our shortlist comprised of entries from:
Amy Dexter, Cutie and the Feast, Tom Wilding, Zippadee Doodle, Wojtek Design, Hello Logo UK, Rosalind Dando, Little Betty Design, Ian Knight, Jamie Bryan, Laura May, Alice Bolton, Mich Venn, Darling Prints, Victoria Butterell, Donna Mintey, Salon Success, Michelle Walker and Sam Miller.
And now onto the results…..
3rd place
Well there was a tie here! Both were very different and stood out to the judges, so a big well done to Cutie and the Feast and Tom Wilding! The simple, effective and beautiful design of Cutie and the Feast’s intricate illustration tugged the heartstrings, while Tom’s upside down heart gave the judges a good giggle, with the design catching the judges’ eyes with its original orientation and humour.
2nd place
In second place was Amy Dexter and her stunning design for the RNLI. The judges chose Amy’s design as runner up because of how she connected the message of love to her artwork and the charity she wanted to win the contest for.
Our winner
And finally our winner is Little Betty Design. Her use of the Manchester bee symbol and clever colour palette worked for the judges. Congratulations! Your Amazon voucher is on the way and we’ll be adding £1,000 worth of printed.com points to give to 42nd Street The Horsfall, a venue and programme of activity that supports and improves young people’s mental health. We can’t wait to support the charity with lots of printed products!
