Friday’s Favourites: Get your fresh design fix
It’s been a busy week of printing by our customers. With summer coming to an end, on-the-day wedding stationery is a popular product, as are save-the-dates for 2018! And with everyone soon coming back from their summer holidays, it seems our customers are stocking up on business stationery for the run up to Christmas. We can’t believe the year has gone this fast either! Have a look at some inspirational designs from this week below…..
Belfast living, Cocker Spaniel owning (we actually requested Phil to post a picture of lovely Lucy last time he was on our blog and he happily obliged. She even has her own Instagram account!) freelance Graphic Designer Phil made these day of the dead inspired leaflets for an upcoming Halloween. Yes it’s early, but designs like this are never to early for us!
Well we’ve never seen a save the date quite like this before. Bury St Edmonds based wedding stationer Nic Haughan, who also specialises in greeting cards and paper goods, created her friend’s save the dates with a fantastic and dreamy looking theme.
Greeting cards by Lauren Parker
Blackpool based Lauren has just launched her new range of greeting cards via her brand The Crafty Badger. We are really struggling to choose our favourite design as they’re all great! Simple with key tonal colours and cheeky messages, anyone would be pleased to receive one of these!
Frenchie pup fan Amanda is loving our flat sheet options for her wedding this month. She made these rustic inspired wedding chair seat signs for guests, complete with a lilac ribbon. It’s amazing what our brides and grooms can do with print and this type of inspiration helps wedding stationers expand their range too!
Business cards by Fernley & Finch
Designer and hand crafted woodenware maker Fernley & Finch created these rustic business cards complete with tool vectors to represent the brand. We think the look of the business cards match the business perfectly!
Wedding stationery by Olive & Millicent
Self-declared cat lady Katy Chester is always reading, exploring and designing stunning watercolour wedding stationery by the looks of things. The new ‘Jo’ invitation suite is named because of Katy’s love for the book Little Women, and is another one of her stationery sets inspired by literary.
Greeting cards by Better Half Full
When it comes to motivational greeting cards, look no further than Niobe who is all about spreading happiness. Oxford based bespoke wedding stationer, who also designs invitations, greeting cards and prints, has got the business fully up and running now with some rather lovely square business cards made from Kraft paper. They look great and we can’t wait to see more designs!
Twin Pines is a boutique design studio specialising in graphic and web design owned by Catherine Ings. She’s made two new postcard sets, perfect for motivating loved ones and offering a little pick me up to the recipients. A minimalist fan, Cat also owns a gorgeous Labrador and enjoys designing for those who like the silly.
Business cards by Samantha King
Hertfordshire based Samantha is normally showing off her bespoke wedding stationery and paper goods, but this time she’s all about her business cards. We love the design which reminds us of sweet treats – Samantha does love a bit of pink, and so do we!
