Friday’s Favourites: Design dreams become reality
With a real pick n mix of print on today’s customer creations blog, there’s so much inspiration to help your design dreams become reality. Featuring greeting cards, prints, compliment slips, business cards and even wedding favours, we said it’s a right royal mix didn’t we!?!
Greeting Cards by AV typography
Amy is the wonderful 14-year-old designer, yes that’s right, 14, behind AV typography. A self-taught letterer, working with typography, brush lettering, and modern calligraphy, Amy produces cards and prints for her online shop. She’s pretty exceptional right, as are her designs! Oh and she also runs her own photography Instagram account too.
Business Cards by Pip & Doodle
Look, you might be able to tell we’re fans of the old fuchsia here, so we got all excited when we saw our pink kindred spirit Pip & Doodle’s business cards. Vicky Nolan and her buddy design prints, papercuts and other little creations from their base in Halifax after being friends for 15 years.
Wedding Favours by Zoe Spry Design
We always love a bit of print innovation here, which is why we adore Zoe’s wedding favours. These can be created using A7 size paper, and a little adhesive to stick the heart choccies too. Our favourite part? The Labrador bridesmaids of course! Plymouth based Zoe has her work stocked in local independent outlets and of course in her online store.
You might remember Emma from a few weeks back – she’s an incredible freehand embroider who adds her embellishment on top of print to create a beautiful 3D effect, with both her original and prints available online. This seafood hut print from Weston-super-Mare has got us reminiscing about the summer just gone.
Compliment slips by Nafftastic
Liverpool based Claire has the coolest portfolio of illustrations and animation – there’s even a little cartoon of her on her website. We’re glad she’s happy with her awesome compliment slips to send out with client purchases – no more home printing for you missy!
