If you’re anything like us, we’re spending most of our lockdown evenings scrolling endlessly through our feed in search of something different from the day-to-day.
Our detailed Instagram search helped us to highlight 20 of our absolute favourite creative customers to follow right now. So sit back, relax and enjoy these little nuggets of Insta-genius.
1. Blooming Typical Designs
Meet our first creative on the list, Blooming Typical Designs! Lover of all things plants and stationery, Jade hopes that her designs can help bring a bit of greenery into people’s homes during COVID-19. Get your hands on your own copy of these stunning Art Prints over on her website.
2. Zoe Spry
The second feature in our creative round up is Zoe Spry Design. From Netflix shows to song lyrics, Zoe is inspired by all things current events. As COVID-19 hit the UK she began creating lighthearted illustrations to help people find humour on their Instagram feed. She has since turned these into a fantastic set of Greeting Cards. 3. Made by Busby
Yes we know, these are adorable. Made by Busby started as a passion project for Shelley after she began crafting personalised items for her son’s nursery. Now embracing her creativity her handmade products range from rainbow key rings to punch needle wall hangings. We’re in colour heaven!
4. Chiara Celini
Chiara Celini is a freelance illustrator based in Edinburgh. Inspired by people, pattern and story-telling, we are totally captivated by her unique style and use of bold colours. This pack of Postcard designs is sure to put a smile on anyone’s face. Check out more products in her Etsy shop.
5. Happy Go Lucky
If you’re looking for an Instagram account to fill you with joy, look no further than Happy Go Lucky. One woman band Ashley is your go-to for commercial illustration, gifts, Greeting Cards and stationery design. What’s more, all her paper products are recyclable. We salute you Ashley!
6. Kirsty Alice Stationery
Kirsty Alice Stationery is our inspiration for all things bespoke wedding design! These Wedding Invites were printed on our luxurious Pearl Polar paper, with an accompanying Wedding RSVP printed on textured Nettuno paper. Kirsty enjoys mixing different paper types to add depth to her designs. Keep doing what you’re doing Kirsty!
7. Little Paisley Design
Next up is Little Paisley Designs. A nature inspired, illustrative brand oozing with detail to delight your Instagram feed. Ellie creates a variety of products ranging from stationery to enamel pins and patches (with lots in between!). During the lockdown she has seen an uplift in orders of both Notecards and Postcards, and loves knowing that these will contain thoughtful messages to loved ones during COVID-19.
8. Let Love Sparkle Design
We’re no stranger to our next feature, seasoned wedding stationer Let Love Sparkle Design. Katie has really seen the impact COVID-19 is having on her clients, and is currently offering couples a FREE personalised ‘change of plan’ e-announcement design which can be shared via email. Any donations received from customers will be given to NHS Charities Together. Bravo!
9. Meraki Stationery
Also taking on Instagram with all things wedding is Meraki Stationery. This power duo began their dream journey back in 2018 and have a real passion for bringing their clients ideas to life. They don’t stop at wedding stationery though, they’re also a dab hand at creating bespoke Greetings Cards and Invites! Head to their website for the full lowdown.
10. Blvck Lama
Our next creative instalment is the fantastic Blvck Lama. Specialising in graphic art you will be captivated by his use of mythological and mystical symbolism (with the occasional graffiti twist thrown in!). 11. Paper Jungle
We just love our next creative feature Paper Jungle, mostly because their core focus is to make people smile AND laugh (both of which we enjoy). 12. PS Weddings
Contemporary wedding stationery design studio PS Weddings offer a variety of design styles for their clients, using multiple printing techniques including Foiling. The above invitation suite is a sneak peek of Paula’s latest work! We love the deep paper tones and how neatly each element of the invite fits together. Explore more on her Etsy page.
13. Sam Jayne Designs
Sam Jayne Design is a fun creative design studio offering contemporary eye catching design. Sam specialises in pattern, illustration, typography and stationery and has worked with huge brands including Primark and Birchbox. 14. Sarah Nolloth
If you’re looking for a little pick me up you simply must follow the wonderful Sarah Nolloth on Instagram. Amongst her plethora of printed masterpieces, her ‘Be kind’ Postcard truly speaks to us right now. What’s more, 10% of sales from this piece will be donated to various charities, including Mind and Care for the Family. Thank you for inspiring us Sarah!
15. Biosphere Stationery
Full time commercial photographer Rhiannon needed a creative outlet, thus was born Biosphere Stationery. Rhiannon takes us on a whimsical adventure through her botanical painting style and is currently exploring an A-Z of wildflowers on her Instagram feed. 16. Deborah Panesar
Illustration graduate Deborah Panesar is next on our list. Her range of stationery products focus on individuality, sustainability and beauty. She recently designed a set of free colouring sheets to support other parents with children at home during COVID-19. We love her use of the symbolic rainbow, an image that we all find motivation in lately! Get to know more about her here.
17. The Native State
We couldn’t talk about Instagram creatives without featuring The Native State! This small creative biz began in a ground floor box room flat in Edinburgh. Frankie (the brains behind the operation) has since started a family and moved to the countryside with her graphic designer husband, Hasta Inc. 18. Pache Designs
Ursula of Pache Designs is someone very much inspired by everyday life, nature and animals (especially the feline variety). She is also a strong believer that a letter through the post can mean the world to someone, especially at the moment. Check out some of her stunning watercolour designs over on her Etsy page.
19. London Row Studio
Our penultimate creative feature is graphic designer and marketing specialist Rowena – the brains behind London Row Studio. Her go-to design aesthetic is typically typographic with bright, bold colours. She also absolutely loves to create new typefaces from scratch (when she can find the time!). 20. Wimperis Embroidery
Last (but by no means least) we have Niamh of Wimperis Embroidery. Niamh loves the therapeutic nature of embroidery and finds it a calming escape during COVID-19.
